Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself to the group and let you know my
interest in this project. The reason I am interested in jBoss is because
I was searching for an Open Source EJB Container/App Server upon which
to build a framework for workflow oriented software systems. The design
of this Workflow Framework is partly the result of my attempts to design
a software system to manage a particular .com's product information
repository and the workflow problems involved (I have war stories). The
design was never implemented, and, as a matter of fact, was never shown
to anyone outside my circle of peer reviewers (a handful of PhD's)
before we bailed from the now almost bankrupt company.

The reason I am telling you this is that I would like to build this
framework upon jBoss and as such I have a vested interest in it's
continued development. I likely will be contributing back to the jBoss
sourcebase in areas that support this framework.

So far I would like to commend the jBoss developers for putting together
such a great system. I was amazed at how simple it was to install, run,
and deploy EJB's in. I think it took me at least a day to get my first
EJB deployed in BEA/Weblogic. Bravo!

BTW: The software I am developing will be Free (as in speech, not beer).
I will release the first rev of the code once I have enough written to
interest outsiders.
