replacing the logger is no biggy, smaller than fixing the effort of fixing
the error messages.
AFAIK, the speed problems are mostly the logger, with you can go up to 20ms
w/o you can go 2ms...
We will replace the logger after this BETA-PROD release and before the final
one.
