Ok so before the remove still was associated with a thread and the pool wouldn't take the instance. In fact it seems that the pools never reclaimed the tx'ed context on remove (;-)... since we were going quite high in the loads it does prove that a stable heap at 6M is OK for most VM on LInux and NT... ok now the stuff is done properly and the ctx association with is dealt with properly. in CVS marc ________________ Marc Fleury, PhD CTO, Telkel Inc. ________________
