Let me try to clarify then: just because company X solves a particular
problem does not make it the right thing to do. If you say, "company X does
it this way *which is good becayse Y Z and Q*" then that is a more valid
argument. "Because" arguments are not very useful.

What do you mean? If you are talking about the startup order handling then
that requires a real dependency manager since otherwise things may break if
a service, which other services depend on, is stopped.
