Peter is unimaginative when he claims that integration is 
modification, I think.  He imagines that integration cannot
be done without introducing a delta to the jboss sources.

As long as the desired integration could be performed via 
interfaces & hooks provided by jboss, there would be no 
reason to modify jboss in the process of integrating it.  

Moreover, nobody gives up their right to modify jboss by the
terms of the LGPL either, as long as their modified version
is also available in a non-bundled distribution.  

It seems like we've managed to boil this down to the crux
of the matter, at least.  This must be where Peter thinks
that Stallman must have been asked the wrong question.

Marc, could we pose the (integration==modification) question
to him more directly?  

P.S.  Just don't use the term "open source", you'll open a
can-o-worms. ;-)
