I dont know if JBoss has such feature and if it hs not i can try to implement it
because i need it for my project :)
Feature: User defined servises
Purpose: User defines functions of Stateless Session bean and defines timing (in
seconds). Every time timer expires function is called.
Usage: Data base purger, Email fetcher, Email sender, etc...
Implemntation: Somethink like AutoDeploy bean; reads configuration file, puts all
servises into list ans starts thread. List is sorter by timer and wakeups when it is
needed, calls needed session bean function and sleeps till next wakeup.
What do u think?
I don't promice i'll be fast on it, but i'll would like to try if idecide to use JBoss
for our project in real production.
