I read through the jBoss how-to on creating plug-ins and suddenly
thought:

"Wouldn't the autodeployer functionality be a nice thing to extend to
any part of the architecture?"

What I'm thinking of is an MBean, probably, that can be used to register
for events when a particular URL has changed. For autodeploy it would
point to the /deploy directory and for a security plugin it could, for
example, point to a policy file, and so on.

Anywho, it's just my brain doing it's generalization thing again. Tell
me to shut up if you don't want it to keep doing it. :)

"Consider the situation. There you are, forehead like a set of
balconies, worrying about the long-term effects of all this new 'fire'
stuff on the environment, you're being chased and eaten by most of the
planet's large animals, and suddenly tiny versions of one of the worst
of them wanders into the cave and starts to purr."
