Hi Marc,

I wish you best luck with the training and the jboss group effort. Earning a
living is the very least
that you deserve ... Btw, I´m sure that we will buy any "merchandising"
product
in order to support the organization ;-)

Since I am in pretty much the same situation - there are times when you have
to concentrate on
non-open company interest and there are times when you have to concentrate
on private family interests - I fully understand our discussion somehow went
to sleep.

Please let me now what was the problem with the "2-phase" deploy prototype I
sent you. There seems to be a problem in understanding the code, as I have
not had any feedback from Toby, too.

I´m willing to simplify the stuff further as I see the opportunity to bring
our additional requirements into it via extensions. However, my time is
currently a bit restricted since we have an internal release next week and
I´m on holiday the week after.

I commit to take over the application cycling thingy from the 9th of April
on. Maybe I have some spare time before, but that is not for sure.

Hey,

one of the reasons I am "quiet" is that it is 2:30 am and I am working on
wrapping up the new training. Doing good training takes a lot of time. I
need to make a living at JBoss if I want to continue so I am putting the
hours that need to be put.

Anyways, the point of this note is that almost all of the hands on exercises
towards the end call for "large scale" component integration where you
assemble the previously developed components. I realize what a pain it IS
not to be able to have the static CL construct I built in the solution to
the dumbo problem in December. The fact is that Parent CL based constructs
do not allow independent deployment.

Funny how things work, it is now very clear in my mind, and the problems I
used to see as confusing are now very clear, and therefore, very small.

It remains that packaging even 3 beans together for an app is a pain in the
butt. I can redo that code and will probably do it for the May class. Dr
Jung, I remember you sent me a revised V2 version of it and that I was not
happy with it for some reason... are you still go with that? If so I would
like to do it, it probably won't take me long to get back in it and do it
right...

are you still interested? if so I might ping you for the "management" of the
application cycling. I will try to make the problem simple.

marc
