If someone with write access to the web pages would just throw together a
form on the web page where you could fill in information that You need I'm
sure there will be quite a lot of info coming in. Right now all that is said
is "please email us with your name, job title, company and a brief
description of how and where you are using JBoss.". I'm sure people feels
awkward about that but would not mind answering the same questions in a
form and submit it.

Best regards,
Per

Of course you get to put it on the website.

I will tell you what PISSES ME OFF....

I am walking through JavaONE, somebody starts talking to me randomly (he
hears us speak french) and sees my badge and says... "Oh JBOSS, really cool,
we are in production with a client with it"... THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF....
the guy doesn't EVEN take the time to send us the reference.

Another one, from belgium (you will probably recognize yourself :()
mentioned replacing websphere with JBOSS in a production env for clients and
we dont know about it.

Finally, and this one is my favorite, I go to the WEBGAIN booth at JavaONE
to confirm the rumour I have heard that JBOSS is at the heart of composer as
the EJB container for the development studio, and I ask for a demo, of
course the console is ALL JBOSS and I tell them " guys it would be cool to
tell us that and give us PR" as I turn my badge and they see we are with
JBOSS. The product manager did tell me a good story that they went and
demoed composer to the weblogic brass (BEA is an investor in them) and since
they couldn't deploy the stuff during the demo on weblogic, (you know EJBC
and all the compiler craziness) they finally went and said "let us demo on
JBOSS" to the BEA brass ''waaaaawawawaaaaawawaaaa!".

ALL THAT IS REALLY COOL BUT WE DON"T GET PR OUT OF IT! And that is not cool
at all.

So we will change that,

PLEASE LET US KNOW ABOUT YOUR SUCCESS STORIES, the fact that we don't get
anything in Open Source, not even your PR is really getting on my nerves. I
guess I am still naive and idealistic.

Hi Geeks

Lately I was trying to convince colleques to use JBoss instead
of the other App. Servers and most of them just asked me who
does use JBoss in production (and I had no anwser).

Therefore my call to all of you please tell who is using JBoss in
production. Thus we maybe can use this on the JBoss website
(if we get the OK from Marc) tell me also if this could be listed
on the JBoss website (if not mentioned I will assume that you
don't want it).

Have fun - Andy
