Has anybody thought about or the implications of using java.lang.ref.SoftReferences in Bean InstancePools?  I think this would be benefitial to put in.  Anybody have any thoughts about this? 

 

Our app, for instance, has a high probability of hitting the JVMs max memory available because of it's high load and it would be nice if the InstancePools could release un-used instances.

 

Let me know any thoughts you all may have.  I may start looking into putting this in.
