Well I'm glad at least some of them are coming through matching more or
less what I get here...
I imagine you already know this, I have found that if jboss hangs on
shutdown sending it SIGABRT kills it without leaving all the ports it is
using permanently disabled.  Do you happen to know it there is some way to
release ports held by a crashed and killed program?  Until I found the
SIGABRT I had to reboot several times.
