Hi Geeks

I know that I had this problem beforehand but I
cannot recall what I did to solve it. Does anyone
has a clue why this build fails:

compile:
[javac] Compiling 412 source files to
/home/projects/jboss.dev/branch.2.4/jboss/jboss/build/classes

BUILD FAILED

/home/projects/jboss.dev/branch.2.4/jboss/jboss/src/build/build.xml:133:
Cannot use classic compiler, as it is not available A common solution is to
s
et the environment variable JAVA_HOME to your jdk directory.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

JAVA_HOME is set as well as "java.home" points to the same directory.
Also when I set the compiler to "modern" it will tell me that no modern
compiler is available and switch back to "classic".

I use W2K, latest Cygwin and Sun JDK 1.3.1. I also tried it on SuSE
Linux 7.2 with Sun JDK 1.3.1.

Thanx
