Can we dig in a little deeper and fix this? The big deal here, is that it is a bitch to maintain these scripts especially when then start having per-component per-vm per-os hacks to get things to work. Also, as I mentioned before, the lib/ directory might not be local... I would really like to avoid putting this change into use, as it complicates the configuration & documentation for everything else.
