I think this is something which David was hinting at with his ref to jboss-
auto.jcml... which is fine as long as it can be turned off.  I personally to 
explicitly set the configuration which is used.  I don't want to deal with 
some other registry and such.  When I shutdown the VM I expect it to come back 
up with the original config.  If I want that config changed then I will change 
the file.

Others might like the configure once, then tune via GUI interface.  Either 
should work... but lets not force everyone to a GUI.

Hrm... did you even read the mail that I sent, or are you simply reacting to 
the subject?

This sucks... I don't want to have to bring up some lame GUI to change a 
config value.
