I never saw this problem with RC1 or earlier. Right after I deploy an ear with a couple of webapps and ejbs in it, and i hit the context more then once on a page that has yet to be compiled, the web container completely freezes. further requests result in "HttpProcessor[port][threadnumber]: Starting background thread", including hits to other contexts. After several minutes i just give up and control-c it. Then jboss says: [Engine] StandardWrapper [/contextName:jsp]: Waiting for n instance(s) to be dealocated. I then have to manually kill the vm. It seams to work just fine if the page is already compiled. It also seams to be fine if i only hit the context 1 time and then let it compile. This problem sounds like it could be in the webcontainer itself, but i don't think that the version of tomcat changed between the rc builds and this appears to be a new problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Scott M Stark (starksm) Date: 2002-06-13 23:10 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=175228 I can't reproduce this behavior. I have hit a jsp page in a tight while loop using wget and redeployed a war over and over without a problem. Provide a testcase and script the demonstrates what you are seeing.
