Category: JBossWeb Group: v3.0 Rabbit Hole Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Thomas Hamann (thomash76) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: log4j.properties ignored Initial Comment: Hi, i've deployed a web application on JBoss 3.0.4 (on win2k), which makes use of log4j. Unfortunately the application specific log levels - specified in log4j.properties - are being ignored. No matter where i put the properties file (war file root, /WEB-INF, /WEB-INF/classes, or /WEB-INF/lib) the container keeps ingnoring the custom settings. Is there no other solution than to configure log4j explicitly in JBoss's log4j.xml file for EVERY log4jed application? thanks in advance Thomas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=376685&aid=699367&group_id=22866 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The debugger for complex code.
