Category: JBossServer Group: v3.0 Rabbit Hole Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Keith Thomas (keefie) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: org.jboss.Shutdown throws unreported exception Initial Comment: Contrary to the usage docs, Usage: Shutdown [host [port]] [-u username] [-p password] [-c shutdown_command] org.jboss.Shutdown.java throws a NullPointerExeception when the username and password are not supplied. To make matters worse this exception is not reported and so gives the appearance that shutdown just does not work. This is probably why so many people use CTL+C.
