Salut, in the meantime i tried to find out, why the installing root account was able to run JBoss but any other user failed to see the plugins.
I found out, that some of the files in the user directory ~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.0.0/.config do not contain necessary jboss config data. A comparison between the contents of the /opt/eclipse/.config directory and the user related config directory showed the absence of jboss in some config files. I am not sure, iff this is a bug from eclipse or jboss-ide. Another plugin, that is installed manually works for all other users.
