mcast_addr has to be the same on both machines. Additionally the NIC has to setup that multicast works (the route to 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 has to be bound to the NIC and not the local loopback only so the ip-packages actually leave the machine). Just search Google for 'multicast ip' to get more understanding of how ip-multicast works.
