I seem to have sidetracked this build problem, by pulling explode.jar out of jboss-portal/tools/lib/ and trying the build over again. Of course i ran into a new issue when i did that one, further down the build. The JavaCC issue, which seemed to be resolved by changing the format/build.xml file so that "javacchome" was set to a copy of sun-javacc that i had from old nukes code.
That got me past that issue, but then another came up (of course)... BUILD FAILED | file:/home/jhobson/dev/jboss-portal-2.0/format/build.xml:114: Could not create task or type of type: jflex. | | Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon. | i tried copying jflex.jar into various locations (including $JBOSS_HOME/servers/default/lib) but i still get this error. So my build still fails.
