From Hibernate3/lib/version.properties:
cglib.lib=cglib-2.1.3.jar
cglib.version=2.1.3
cglib.name=CGLIB bytecode generator
cglib.when=runtime, required if using 'cglib' bytecode provider
so we have been there for a while.

The Hibernate team should decide this.
They are its biggest consumers, they know what they have
tested against.
