Hi,
i'm trying to make either the jBoss 1 or 2 with sun's jdk1.2.2 for Linux
running... Therefore i've tried:
- Downloading the JBoss2 binaries from www.ejboss.org --> server seems
to work, but I don't know how to start any clients? If someone could
tell me how to start clients or point me to some docs for that it would
be very great.
- Downloading binaries for JBoss1 from www.telkel.com/ejboss/. It seems
they only run with jdk1.3 since i've got warning "You are on a 1.2 VM
and you compiled 1.3" and "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
java/lang/reflect/InvocationHandler" exception when starting the server
using server.sh
- I downloaded jBoss 1 and 2 sources via CVS (using jCVS, after breakin'
through our firewall works GREAT :-) and tried to compile it. EJBoss:
set JDK-Version in build.sh to 1.2.2, run build.sh and got the error:
"ObjectInputStreamWithClassLoader.java:17: Class java.lang.reflect.Proxy
not found in import. "; JBoss: Several error that (new jdk1.3) classes
and methods are missing.
Can somebody tell me how to compile and/or run one of the two jboss
versions using jdk1.2.2/Linux??
