Hmmm... I found the Sun 1.3 beta JVM to be somewhat slower than
the IBM 1.3 JVM (on RedHat 6.2). Frustratingly, neither seem to run with
-Xrunhprof. But I'm using Sun's anyway because I'm a Ctrl-C junkie.
IBM's final is supposed to be out by the end of the month, FWIW.
