I have some suggestions that might make the binary/source distribution easier to understand. Can we use some kind of numbering system for the binary distribution, something similar to the linux kernel releases. If a new user comes along to try out jboss, there is nothing to tell him if version 2 is a stable/unstable/experimental release. By using a numbering scheme we can also see if there is a new binary available; at the moment I can only tell by looking at the binary size. e.g. jboss 2.1.x unstable jboss 2.2.x stable (production release) Other solution is to use mozilla style milestones or jEdit type pre-releases. I have not used bugzilla, but from I can see there is no way to tell in what version a particular bug was found (e.g. jboss2.0.1) and what version it was fixed (e.g. jboss2.0.5). What about nightly builds? People behind firewalls would be happy. Keep up the good work.
