We didn't touch running as a service - just starting the two
together. If you can run jBoss as a service, you can run them together as
a service, but I haven't tried that. I've heard of a number of
open-source tools that let you run practically anything as a service, but
again, I'm afraid I haven't tried any. Does Tomcat or Apache use an easy
library to do it, or are they "proprietary" (i.e. custom)?
