Hi Does anyone know whereabouts on the "no-brainer to impossible dream scale" the following sits: looking up and executing methods on an EJB sitting on a different application server instance. ( possibly on the same machine, possibly not.) I am hoping it is as simple as having an EJB within App Server A use JNDI (somehow) to get a remote reference to an EJB within App Server B (with App Server A acting as a client container) and executing method calls on the remote object, but I'm worried it may be somewhat more complex than that ? The above is a generic question as to communication between j2ee app servers. A more specific example would be an ejb in a jBoss instance talking to an ejb in another jBoss instance - is this possible ?
