Based on your suggestions, I went through my jboss-web.xml file and removed
all the tab characters. I also tried rearranging the file's contents. I
also broke up the position of the entity bean entries so they are no longer
contiguious.
jBoss still deploys all the entity bean references first. In every case, it
deploys them in the reverswe order in which they appear int he file. I had
noticed this before I sent my first note as well. It appears that jBoss is
seperating the EBs from the SLSBs and then first binding all the EB entries
in the reverse order from their listing, and then it moves on to the SLSB
entries, and fails on the very first one it attempts, which is the last one
in the file.
I'll paste the log excerpt and the jboss-web.xml file below. But I just
don't see what is different about the SLSB entries from the EB entries.
Then again, I don't really know what jBoss is doing here. There may be a
problem in my code, in my ejb-jar.xml file, in my web.xml file. Then again,
it may really be a bug. I was hopeing to avoide diging into the jBoss
source, as I am under a lot of time pressure to resolve this.
Anyhow, if anyone out there has got this to work I would appreciate hearing
from you!
