Can you guys move this off-topic discussion somewhere else? This list has
enough traffic as it is... I'm pretty sure that this list specializes in
news and issues relating to the jboss software, not arguments about the web
site design.

True, but this isn't yahoo, amazon, or any other "commercial" site. Would
you rather the jboss programmers spend their time fixing bugs and adding
features or testing how the web site performs for every obscure browser? If
you are willing to put in the time to download, install, and customize
jboss, then you can download and install the latest version of a browser.

Tim,
Have you some experience with Web site Design ? The main constraint is that
the site must be tested on each browser !
Also, often when you work on a big company (Big banks, assurance, .... ),
you cannot install products (like IE) on your machine,
you are not the administrator and often a "system" team manage this kind of
task (If they have the right and licences).
(Some banks have more than 40.000 PC and an update is a complete project
!!! ).
Also, the JBoss Site must run under each browser and it is not the visitor
that must change its browser version !!
Thanx
Christophe

IE 4.0 (and IE 4.01) are the worst versions of IE since version 2 (I think)
There were serious bugs in the redering engine, the OCX container, the
security, etc, etc, etc...
I wouldn't blame the website...try upgrading to a later version of IE...
Tim.
