I found out what was wrong. In the build path there was a reference to a JBoss EJB3 Library. That library was based on a server configuration that didn't exist.
Solution:- disable JBossAS Tools; | - remove JBoss EJB3 Library from build path; | - enable JBossAS Tools; | - add JBoss EJB3 Library based on correct Server configuration to build path.
