On the other system, have you set the JAVA_HOME correctly? What does the 
following command output:

echo %JAVA_HOME%

If you are sure that the JAVA_HOME setting is right, then remove the "@echo 
off" line from the run.bat. Then open a command prompt and 'cd' to the bin 
folder of JBoss and run the run.bat and post the output here. If there's some 
error related to findstr, then have a look at
