Hmm... never ran into this, but from what I've read following all topics etc, it might just be that indeed changing just the value of this column is enough.
otoh, is it the ip addres of the db machine? or are the db and appserver running on the same machine? afaik, it should be the ip address of the server the jobexecutor is running on.
