I have followed the steps as given in the jboss documentation to change the following files. META-INF/jboss-service.xml and hibernate.config.xml in jboss-portal.sar/conf/hibernate, jboss-portal.sar/conf/user, jboss-portal.sar/conf/portal, jboss-portal.sar/conf/portlet files.
