I researched about possibles causes and it seems the most probable reason for this exception is that the ArrayList to be clear is unmodifiable, but I don't know why! Specially because hibernate libraries (bundled in seam) are the same in 1.3 and 1.2.1 version (so, nothing has changed), even I did upgrade to latest Hibernate libs and I got the same exception. I'm really stuck with this, hope someone can give me some hints regarding this, in the meantime I will go back to Seam 1.2.1, where all works fine (but I would like to use the upcoming 1.3).
