Update: please ignore the note about "cannot render message", there was no <h:messages/> indeed (how embarrassed I am). Anyway, the problem with transaction rollback is valid. BTW despite all these exceptions jPDL "GOBACK" navigation DOES take effect and user is redirected correctly.
