Hi,
I think, JBoss is way past beeing alpha, however parts of ejb 2.o may still
be alpha. There was a mentioning that even numbers will indicate stable
produktion releases, whereas the cvs build (called uneven) is beta. so 2.2.x
is stable. 2.3 aka the cvs is beta. I'm uncertain whether there will be
another tree in the sourcecode to implement clustering for the 3.0 version.

Subject: [JBoss-user] Beta and Alpha versions

> Maybe this is occurring, but I can't see it. It appears that the Jboss
team is just releasing final versions to the general public. Projects like
Enhydra Enterprise, Apache, and Jakarta (apache) release alpha and beta
versions. Perhaps some of the more serious problems reported on the list
could be reported by users testing an alpha or beta release. Maybe I am
missing the boat somewhere, and I am completely off base. Just a thought.
