Ok. I found the solution. arg.getField().getType().getName() gives me the type to cast to, and I add that to the code as shown here:
| StringBuffer code = new StringBuffer(); | code.append("$0."); | code.append(arg.getFieldName()); | code.append("=(" + arg.getField().getType().getName() + ")" + | "com.sun.labs.rdf.sommer.ClassRewriter.setField(" | + "$type,$0,\"" + field + "\",$1);"); | arg.replace(code.toString()); | which ends up producing code like this: | $0.m_b=(java.lang.String)com.sun.labs.rdf.sommer.ClassRewriter.setField($type,$0,"http://eg.com/bean/b",$1); | View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3940993#3940993 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3940993 ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
