I simulated 50 requests to JBoss Portal 2.2 initial page. Each request was started 200 ms after the start of the previous request. The average response time was 305 ms.
In the second test, all the requests were started the same time. The average time increased to 18 seconds. It looks like some resources in JBoss Portal are accessed sequentially.
