c_eric_ray, In order to help get LDAP login working, I suggest looking at your LdapLoginModule configuration. This error seems to suggest that either you do not the login module configured properly to talk to your LDAP server, or maybe LDAP server has an encrypted form of password, different from what you are sending. This is pure speculation on my part though.
