It would just be too painful for me to describe what I've done wrong. But your hint was priceless. And Thomas was also right. I didn't realize that I've to deploy the booking-ds.xml as well. So I did it for my app, too. Next I got an error which told me that the database driver couldn't be found. I forgot to copy the matching jar to the server libs. Now my app is delpoyable, yeah. Now I run into sum myfaces errors. But that's a different matter.
