Pasting or typing. The behaviour you describe from 3.1.2 is what I have to 
(tried it a few minutes ago, I have to give a presentation tomorrow, so I 
better prepare offline and hibernate my pc, not shut it down ;-)

I am afraid you are on your own with this untill some testing is done to get it 
running on 3.2 (which includes using WTP 1.5 as well, so it will be a kind of 
major upgrade.
