Hi, I am new to the jboss portal. I had deployed the jboss portal. when i use http://localhost:8080/portal, the first page opens up but after that i am not able to explore other features. The tutorial says i can login using admin/admin but when i give the username/password, it take me to http://localhost:8080/portal/auth/j_security_check%> and says page cannot be found. if I remove the %> sign at the end of the url, it says, Login failed. Am i doing something wrong.
Also, if i try to deploy any of the examples available PortletSwap.com, the whole system crashes if i place the war, sar or ear file of Helloworld example with http://localhost:8080/portal giving a null pointer exception itself. It works only once i remove the files and drop the database user, and recreate it. FYI- i am using jboss 4.0.4, jboss-portal 2.2.1 sp1 and oracle 9. Can any one help me resolving all this..i am not able to proceed because of all this so please help as its urgent..
