Since the conference is free we do not reserve seats,

we are however worried that there won't be seats for everyone, it is clear
that many people come to SF just for this (east coast/midwest/SF).

We have come up with the following scheme of priority
1- Partners and customers (training and support/consulting)
2- new tshirt buyers for the session
3- everyone else to capacity.

In fact there is so much demand (not a day goes by without "I want to
reserve PLEASE") that we will be "cycling" the room, i.e. not allowing the
first 100 people to just camp out the full 2 days, we want as many people as
possible to get to know us.

The "to capacity" is going to be a problem, you really need to be there
early if you want to be sure to get a seat for any session. There will be
between 150 and 200 seats upstairs. We will probably be transmitting the
conference through the TV systems in the Thirsty Bear bar downstairs, which
will boost capacity to 350. Downstairs, you will get the "sports bar"
formula from the thirsty bear. Depending on the time they will expect you to
buy a drink or meal to watch the broadcast.

Look guys, this is the first time we do this, and we had NO IDEA what kind
of positive response we would get, this is a bit overwhelming. Now you WANT
to be there, since on tuesday morning for the opening, I will say "Today my
friends, we are a hundred" and in 3 years I will want to say "today, we are
5000"... be part of the first 100, get your tshirt, your signed copy of the
book and talk about it to your collegues at work and your grandchildren...
"did I tell you little punks about the revolution?"...
