You asked about accessing an MBean from an EJB in your original message, but here you ask about accessing JMX from an EJB. To access an MBean, bind your MBean into JNDI, then your EJB can do a simple lookup. I used the sample MBean in the 2.4.x documentation to figure out how these things fit together. It's pretty simple.
