Yes, that's all. What makes you think that your cluster is correctly
started? Can you show me the excerpt from your logs that show that both
nodes recognize each other?
And in a first step, stop playing with the farm service: simply deploy your
EJB-JAR in both app servers (in the /deploy directory of both app servers).
