I don't know.  All I am saying is don't be so quick to assume there is a bug.  Experiment with editing the file and see if you can't make it work.  Or alternatively, look at the JBoss code to see exactly how it uses that file.  The file is just a set of mappings.  And you can't expect the author of the file (Dain) to have come up with every possible mapping for every database.

I didn't find something like "INTEGER(9)" in standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml
