I presume that's because every Entity Bean will have to be able to implement the TimedObject interface and thus if the entity beans are in a cluster, these problems will arise. So rather than going off and trying to write my own distributed Timer Service ( like I'd be able! ), perhaps I should wait for J2EE 1.4 compliance? Do you think JBoss will have to implement a distributed timer service for the J2EE 1.4 release to avoid these problems?
