Well, I donwloaded and tried out JBoss 4.0. Haven't done too much with it. I have a few simple .ear files that appear to be working fine so far. Haven't tried the clustering.
At least one stack trace showed up during startup, but it was accompanied by an explanation saying something to the affect of "This is probably because this is the first time you've ran this service." Anyway, everything appears to be working okay. My .ear's loaded in fine.
