One of the main problems I am facing now is transactions getting stuck in the Entity beans ejbStore() method.
I am using Jboss3.0.7 and Sybase 7.0.3 and I am having Container managed transaction.
My project currently involves of porting the application from JOnAs 2.4 to JBoss3.0.7. The application was working with JOnAs. But when I performed a comparison study of the performance b/w JonAs and Jboss we have deiced to move to JBoss.(Its was purely based on my recommendation. The statistics I used was to compare CPU memory and response time:-).
But now there are some critical bugs based on the scenario where the transaction stuck indefinetly on ejbStore().
Can some one please suggest where all should I be looking for debugging.(I will be happy if the explanation is in layman's language;-). I have the pais docs for 3.0.0 and read the EntityBean locking section. I also tried the trouble shooting techniqus like 'Instance per transaction BMP Entity'. But...:-(.
Also if there are experts out there who have worked in JOnAs, could you please explain the main difference in the transaction handling b/w these two app. servers.
Cheers
Muraly
