Add on to this. We are using JBoss3.2.1 and have found the CCE happen to many random classes(org.jboss, com.ourcompany, org.thirdparty, etc).
I don't know if it exists post 3.2.2. What I have noticed is that if we restart the appserver, it is fine(sometimes, it may take a few restarts). Sounds like a race scenario in the ClassLoader. I'm actively hunting it down, with little results.
