Hi, Fixed the problem. It was a problem with the namespace. I changed it to "java:/MSSQLDS" in my jbosscmp-jdbc.xml and got rid of the binding problem. SQLServer by default uses the port 1433. It was not a problem with the port. Things actually seem to work afterall :-) ...
